What is your inspiration?
A little piece of my soul goes into each Spirit Tree. My inspiration comes from the trees around my home during a high wind or the beautiful windswept landscapes from northern New York all the way to the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. Each one is different and so I make each one of my trees unique as well. I craft each one out of multiple strands of copper that I twist together and hand form. A beautiful clear quartz crystal and different types of leaves add life and movement. The crystals are from the Quachita Mountains of Arkansas where they were hand-dug by me and my Mom. Just like the trees, each one is unique and special.
Meaning of the spirit tree
Blown by the wind, the “Spirit Tree” is a powerful reminder of how strong we can be without breaking. The spirit of the wind can be calming, soothing, and protective. It represents the human spirit, the breath of life, the spirit of God, communication, creating balance and unity, and the movement of life in general.
